Jorge is the VP of Finance for Kardashev BTC. His experience as Equity Trader in GBM and Wealth Management in UBS is crucial for the Kardashev BTC team. Not only that, but Jorge also brings in experience from the startup world. During his time in the startup world, he has helped raise 10+ million USD at the Angel & Pre-Seed Stages. He also worked as CFO at Yana, an AI company, for some years and is currently focused in the Bitcoin startup world with Kardashev BTC. Jorge considers himself a bitcoin maximalist and employs his view on the treasury strategy of the holding company.

Arturo is from the Yucatán Peninsula, therefore, he has witnessed for many years the consequences of energy inefficiency and energy scarcity. The Yucatán Peninsuila is well know for the continuous blackouts. Arturo´s expertise is in energy markets, renewable energy projects and real estate development. At Kardashev BTC, his role is the Head of Project Management. Additionally, he is another of those rare few that have been mining personally for some years in Mexico. Arturo is a big proponent of freedom technologies.

He serves as an Advisor to Base Layer Advisors, where he provides strategic guidance to individuals and businesses navigating the complexities of Bitcoin technology. Furthermore, Santiago counts with experience in the traditional data center industry, which is very helpful for his role as Head of Mining Intelligence at Kardashev BTC.
